Lynn and Carol Wilkinson donated a conservation easement on their 380-acre property where they
have raised yaks over the past decade.


Tax Credit Connection, Inc. was founded in 2003. Ariel Steele joined Tax Credit Connection, Inc. in 2005 from Boulder County's Parks and Open Space Department, where she specialized in assisting landowners with conservation easement donations for over six years. Ariel graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1993 and practiced law in Los Angeles, California for the firm of Latham & Watkins through 1995. In 1996, Ms. Steele moved to the Micronesian island nation of Palau, where she was legal counsel to the Palau Public Land Authority for almost two years.

In 1999, Ariel began working for Boulder County, preserving farms, ranches and wildlife habitat with conservation easements. After working at Tax Credit Connection for nearly a year, she purchased the company in December 2005. She is proud to build upon the solid foundation of professional service that Tax Credit Connection, Inc. has provided since its inception.
